Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce, a 501©3 organization, is a membership organization dedicated to offering products, services and educational programming for multi-cultural business-owners and professionals within the Beaufort and neighboring communities. Our mission is dedicated to the economic empowerment of African American communities and small businesses in Beaufort County.
The Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization dedicated to offering products, services, and educational programming for multi-cultural business owners and professionals within the Beaufort and neighboring communities. The individuals and businesses we serve are federally recognized as disadvantaged business enterprises and/or denied access to capital in traditional finance markets. We are organized as a 501 )c) (3) Corporation in South Carolina.
Our Board of Directors holds its monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 6pm, and the public is welcomed to attend. The Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce offices are closed for business on all Federal holidays. Our 990 is available for review at our office.

The Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce has come a long way since its founding in 1999. Starting from an idea, about $5,000 and a handful of members, the chamber has grown into a multi-million dollar organization that takes its mission seriously and is – literally – changing the face of Beaufort County.
