The grant cycle for local non-profits seeking United Way of the Lowcountry (UWLC) funding in the areas of Basic Needs and Economic Mobility will begin May 1, 2021, with the opening of the Pre-qualification phase. Non-profits interested in applying for UWLC funds will have the month of May to submit the first phase of the process. The Pre-qualification checklist is available now on the United Way of the Lowcountry website at www.uwlowcountry.org under the “Apply for Funding” tab for any agency who would like to get a jump start on checking eligibility. Those interested in applying will have from May 1 – May 28, 2021, to complete the online pre-qualification phase. All applicants must view the pre-recorded pre-qualification training video, which will be posted on the website beginning May 1st.
